TEACHING
Piano Lessons That Meet You Where You Are
For over 25 years, Lee has been teaching piano to students of all ages, from elementary school beginners to adults and seniors returning to music. Beginners are always welcome, and lessons are available for students interested in jazz piano, improvisation, and traditional piano study.
Every student is different, and every lesson reflects that. Lee takes time to understand each student’s interests, goals, and learning style, then crafts lessons that feel engaging, supportive, and motivating. Whether a student is learning their first notes or exploring creative improvisation, the focus is on building confidence, musical understanding, and genuine enjoyment at the piano.
Creativity is at the heart of the teaching approach. Students are encouraged to listen deeply, explore harmony, and develop their own musical voice. For those drawn to jazz, lessons emphasize improvisation, feel, and expression alongside solid technical foundations.
Strong, lasting relationships are central to Lee’s work. Many students study with him for years, forming meaningful musical bonds, and several have gone on to become accomplished and professional musicians.
Lessons are offered in person, in hybrid format, or fully remote.
